LAST
MINUTE CANCELLATIONS
|
|
|
|
|
|
With
an all-weather surface it is very rare for SK to cancel any of their
pre-scheduled sessions, however, on the few occasions that this has
occurred, the main cause has either been heavy snow in the early hours
of Saturday morning (insufficient time to clear the pitch), extreme
overnight frost (minus 3 plus) which has frozen the surface water, or
as was the case of the 'big freeze' during the winters of 2010 and 2011
where temperatures did not allow any surface snow to melt.
In all cases, Soccer Kids will edge on the side of safety.
Where information is received on the Friday evening that the facility
has been closed down, then the above schedule will be amended accordingly.

01629 56503 after 6pm on Friday evenings.
In all other cases, the pitch cannot be inspected until around 8.20am
on the morning of each session, and therefore, parents will have to
make their own judgement on travelling.
